LOL Chisato ran away from the hospital because she thought that she was going to die and how Takina found and then tied her up to the tree was hilarious. Their dynamic is really funny and never gets old.

This is easily my personal anime of the season (if you don't count Edgerunners, that is). The production, story, and characters. The battle sequences were slick and sharp. The gunfights were over the top but don't look absurd. The visual is stunning. All the characters are charming. Even the villain like Majima has his own perk and is not just a cringe-a*s bastard like most of the villains we have this season. Everything just fits perfectly.

The OP and ED are also one of my favorites this season. I think this is one of the best songs from Claris in a while and I always like Sayuri's voice. Her voice is very unique.

The only problem I found is the plots are sometime went with nonsensical development - like how they solved the problem with the Lycoris broadcasting last week, but that is quite minor. The overall quality, especially the characters, leaves more impact and just outweight the cons.

Overall, I give it 9/10. I'm content with just one season of this but if A1 wants to make more of this, then be my guess.

Yeah I actually kind of like Majima lol, his chemistry with Chisato is entertaining to watch considering the dynamic of their relationship.

Indeed, if it weren't for their conflicting ideals, these two could legitimately be friends.

tbf it is mostly people he considers "combatants". I will play devils advocate here and say he stayed within his moral boundaries. Is killing people bad? Sure, in my opinion, but not my job to decide if it is objectively bad.

It's like he's saying everyone is a hero in their perspective if this was the pov of majima then we would see the lycoris as the villains

I did not expected for it to be a fireworks that guy had us thinking it was a bombed I really thought he gonna kill chisato and he's a crazy psycho killer but he just do what he thinks is right

Also I like that chisato didn't hold on to "we good, he bad", but decided "ok, fine, you arent objectively evil, But I will continue to subjectively beat the shit out of you because I disagree"

Majima also has a point. The stuff the Lycoris is doing is wrong. The Lycoris do things to prevent crime, but the way they proceed to do so is crime in itself

I think there's a novel and a manga of lycoris so it's possible it will get a season 2 but I'm satisfied with 1 season

If this is the end, then the zombie part of the description gets unexplained

But what disappointing, is we never get to see Robota's personal secret, he should be having a karma scene after forced to remove his mask. I was told this anime would be darker, so I was prepare for a heart transplant for Chisato from characters, fortunately it never happen.

In the end she did get Yoshi-san's heart so......
And Majima still being alive might be a setup for a second season?

Honestly that was one of the most realistic parts of it, never underestimate just how easy it is for the media to completely twist peoples perception of reality.

I thought Takina was about to lose an arm the way the wire was rubbing on her shoulder and her scream, it looks like she's completely fine though so thank goodness. I got so worried when Chisato threw herself and Majima onto the glass, I thought she was wanting to end it in a tie. It was funny how she reacted when she realized the bomb was just fireworks. And how the hell did Majima survive that fall?!

Lol Kurumi dubbing Mika as the scariest one is very fitting. I'm surprise he's been faking a leg injury the entire time just to make people around him underestimate him, the way he dealt with the Yoshimatsu's secretary was so badass but it was sad to see him in tears as he goes to kill Yoshimatsu, he's Chisato's father first and foremost and that became really clear as he decided to end the life of the person he loves for his daughter.

I'm glad the cafe is still open and LycoReco is in Hawaii, Chisato is really enjoying herself lol. I hope this gets another season, even a Hawaii OVA would be great. I'm sure this series has a lot more it could offer and with it doing seemingly well, I could see it happening.
